Mother's Day Out Program
The Mother’s Day Out program at Southminster Preschool was originally created to provide children with a few hours of weekly instruction in a loving, Christian environment, encouraging socialization while giving parents a break from childcare. While the world has changed, our mission remains the same. Southminster’s MDO has been serving families for decades, with some former students returning to enroll their own children!
Our convenient neighborhood location, positive word-of-mouth referrals, and high-quality programming have allowed us to nurture and educate hundreds of local children over the years. We offer engaging daily and weekly curriculum that develops gross and fine motor skills, language arts, and social-emotional growth. Each week, the Pastor of Southminster leads an age-appropriate Bible story and activity, teaching children Bible themes of love, faith, and forgiveness in a supportive, judgment-free environment. Preschool and Pre-K Program
Academic anxiety may be common, but at Southminster Preschool, we turn learning into “play.” Children benefit from games and activities that engage and excite them while teaching the core concepts needed for kindergarten readiness. Shapes, colors, seasons, numbers, and letters are consistently incorporated into crafts, games, and even educational field trips. Our structured daily routines help children manage their time while allowing flexibility to meet each student’s unique needs.
Our experienced teachers provide guidance and support, helping children cooperate in groups or work independently. Each week, the Pastor of Southminster leads an age-appropriate Bible story and activity, teaching children Bible themes of love, faith, and forgiveness in a supportive, judgment-free environment. By the time children complete our program, they are confident, well-prepared, and ready to thrive in kindergarten.
Tuition Details
Tuition is due by the 10th of each month.
Late payments will incur a $20 Late Fee.
Payments can be made by check or by The Brightwheel App.
